When we opened our original Blackened Brew location in February 2016, we wanted it to be exactly the kind of place we would want to spend our own days off. That meant creating a true pub atmosphere with quality food, a friendly and comfortable environment where everyone feels welcome, and bold American cooking made with brilliant, eccentric ingredients - all set against the backdrop of unique waterside Louisiana scenery. We also wanted service to be professional yet approachable, delivered by people who love dining out just as much as we do.
Since opening, that approach has earned us many loyal friends and customers. We are proud to be Hammond, Louisiana’s first true gastropub, offering food made for everyone to enjoy in a relaxed and accessible atmosphere.
